Bents Garden & Home is celebrating the 5th anniversary of its exclusive 10+ Club; a milestone which was recognised at this year’s annual celebration event. Members of the Club are all colleagues with 10 or more years experience at the Warrington based garden centre.
Since it was launched in 2003 with an initial membership of 14, the 10+ Club has continued to grow and now has 24 members; a figure which demonstrates a fantastic level of loyalty amongst colleagues.
All members of the 10+ Club are invited to an annual thank you lunch held in the Centre’s Fresh Approach Restaurant. In addition to Bents’ usual colleague benefits such as birthday vouchers, birthday day off, pension scheme and Benidorm leave, members of the 10+ Club also receive an additional gift such as a free weekend away for two.
Says Matthew Bent, Managing Director at Bents Garden & Home: “We have an excellent team of colleagues throughout the centre, many of whom have been with us for a number of years. This year the 10+ Club welcomed three new members all of whom joined us in the Fresh Approach Restaurant for our annual celebration. It provides a great way of celebrating long-term commitment and we look forward to welcoming even more new members in the years to come.”
John Miller, member of the 10+club, adds: “So much has happened at Bents in the time that I have been here. The business has grown so much but the care and attention they give to colleagues has always remained the same. The dinner is a great opportunity to get together and talk about things that have taken place and generally have a catch up with good friends.”
The club also includes 7 retired colleagues who were original members and continue to attend the annual dinner which provides the ideal opportunity to meet up with old friends and colleagues.
