Julie Foster is an aromatherapist with twenty years experience and many of her products are designed for individuals who enjoy the outdoor life. Recently featured at Chelsea Flower Show the products are now available at Bents. Julie looks forward to meeting the Bents customers at a customer event in Autumn where she will be demonstrating the benefits of aromatherapy for family health & home fragrancing the natural way.
Garden Tips
1) To freshen the garden (or kitchen) bin mix salt with tea tree and lavender essential oil (4 drops per tablespoonful of salt) and sprinkle in the bottom
2) For sunburned skin apply aloe vera and lavender balm
3) For smelly wellies (or trainers) mix sea salt (course) with lavender essential oil 4 drops per tablespoonful of salt), tie up into little bundles using an old hanky. The bundles will draw out the smell and any sweaty dampness
4) For poor quality sleep on warm nights choose a relaxing bath oil prior to bed Executive Stress Relief for gentlemen and Ultra Relaxing for women are good choices.
5) To improve the smell of the boot room, outside toilet or utility tie a ribbon to a domestic fan and drip on some lavender essential oil.
6) For aching calloused feet and discoloured nails mix ground pudding rice with joint and muscle massage oil and rub in vigorously.
7) For bruised hands or knees apply arnica cream
8) As an insecticide on delicate plants tie a rag gently around stem and add a few drops of tea tree avoid contact of oil on plant
9) To lessen risk of infection etc if you have been gardening in areas visited by rodents bathe regularly in a bath into which 12 drops of tea tree have been added
10) For post gardening fatigue use fatigue relief balm and bath/shower gel hand blended with uplifting citrus oils and labelled for a Special Gardener
