Colour and light are two of the most important ingredients for an artist and two features that Bents Garden & Home has in abundance, both of which were recently used to full advantage by the Warrington Art Group.
The new Open Skies glasshouse at the Glazebury based garden centre was transformed into a light drenched art studio with members of the Warrington Art Group finding inspiration from the dramatic colours and creative plant collections that surrounded them.
The Warrington Art Group has been established for 50 years and are always on the look out for inspirational venues for their members to work from. Said Donna Fadden, a member of the Group: “Bents was a fantastic venue, providing a stimulating and lively environment. We were spoilt for choice with such a wide variety of subjects to choose from and I think I speak for all the members when I say that it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience.”
