Weber Barbecues

Weber Barbecues

Bents has a great range of barbecues from Weber, for those who take their al fresco cooking seriously. Weber is one of the world’s most successful and respected brands of barbecue. The company was founded in post-war America by an entrepreneur, George Stephen Snr, who had had one too many barbecues rained off or suffered inconsistent culinary results.

He actually made his first BBQ by slicing a buoy in half as he knew the spherical shape was perfect to keep heat consistent and have a decent amount of grill space to entertain a garden full of people. Soon everyone wanted one and he started producing them commercially, eventually buying Weber Metalworks, which is where the name comes from.

Now the design is much copied, but it’s hard to beat the original when it comes to quality of build, a thorough cook and a brilliant range of accessories. The range is about much more than charcoal barbies, too – Weber was also a pioneer of electric and gas barbecues for a cleaner cook. Take a look at our collection – there’s a Weber that’s perfect for you.
