      Previously we did allow small dogs that could be carried by their owners into the store, and whilst we appreciate many owners would not enter into food areas, with the expansion of the Food Hall and dining areas, it became necessary for us to restrict the access of dogs (with the exception of assistance dogs) into the store, to ensure hygiene risks were minimised. Unfortunately we have also had a number of incidents of customers bringing their pets into the main store and leaving dog mess on a regular basis, both inside and outside.
      
      We are sorry for any disappointment this may cause you but we do have a Pet Café located in The Pet Place which also offers grooming and spa treatments, although booking is recommended; we are also looking into a walking facility which will allow owners to browse the store in the knowledge their pets will be well cared for.

      Hi Anne,
      Thank your for your intrest in the Pet Cafe, we do not have a set menu in this cafe. However, there is a range homebakes, cream cakes, coffees and sandwich selction which vary daily.

      Thank you for your comment, unfortunately our Pet Cafe doesn't accept table bookings, we can only advise an early arrival to see what the table availability is.

      Thanks for your feedback, I will ensure this is passed on.
      
      The 'Pet Cafe' serves gluten free fruit scones, carrot cake muffins and sandwiches (the sandwich filling is confirmed on the day). If you would like any other gluten free options, they are available from the main restaurant, a cafe assistant should be able to help you on the day.
      
      Please be advised dogs are only allowed in The Pet Place and Pet cafe.

   Really disappointed with the limited selection in the cafe - hardly ever have a choice of sandwiches as a vegetarian and I have often had to have children’s cheese sandwiches. I think the cafe is not up to the usual high standards of bents which is a real shame.

   Me and my daughter brought our first puppy to the pet cafe a couple of years ago. It was a lovely experience. Staff were helpful and friendly, even when the pup had a little accident. My daughter is so excited to bring our newest addition there tomorrow for a treat and a browse round the store.

We do sell Birthday Cakes for Dogs these can be purchased from the Pet Place, we can also offer a personalised cake for your pet, however this would need to be pre-ordered. I hope this helps.
