This is severely upright with sturdy stems that reach upwards. They carry dark rich green leaves with bumpy edges that catch the light. They are glossy with curved edges and closely pack the stems. It is grown for the striking foliage effect and is a feature plant in a container, a highlight of a rockery, or in a small hedge.
