Planting Instructions:
This tender tuberous perennial will reward you beginning in the summer all the way through fall with luscious chocolate-maroon flowers. They even have a light chocolate-vanilla fragrance!!! Plant 2-3” below the soil in a well drained sunny location. The plants can reach up to 3 feet and the blooms make a wonderful cut flower. They will need to be dug and stored in the winter. Lift from the ground after first frost and transplant into a container. Keep them in an area where the temperatures stay above 20C. Water periodically so the plants don’t dry out.
